Gosu is excellent, and has a good mix of action and interesting characters - alongside excellent art. Cool action though.įor series similar to Tower of God, here are a few. Hellper is interesting and a very unique setting, though not very complex. It it split into "Lessa" then "Lessa, the Crimson Knight," which is basically part 2. It is enjoyable for the arcs translated though. But the translations were axed right before the story was getting to what felt like its final stages, and I haven't looked for any fan translations of it recently (I doubt there is much of one). Lessa is an interesting series, and follows a very unique mythology. The art isn't the best, but the series left a huge impression on me. I mostly enjoyed Knight Run because it easily has some of the most horrific depictions of the despair of humanity in a total war, and also has some amazing combat scenes and awesome moments.
Having author notes or additional content would help as well in understanding what is going on. Admittedly this requires reading closely, and the poor translation doesn't help. The technobabble in Knight Run honestly is a problem with it, though a lot of it is explained to a degree.
